Tonight is Halloween which also means that our Boston & Rhode Island Area party for New and Returning Junior Campers is just 19 days away! We can't wait to see and hang out with so many of our camp friends. The part will be from 2:00 - 4:00pm at Everwood Day Camp in Sharon, MA. We'll be playing games like gaga and street hockey, working on art projects, and serving snacks and drinks. We'll also be taking time to introduce our newest campers to the rest of the Boston and Rhode Island K&E community.
As I wrote in Friday's blog, the entire Camp Office is very excited to celebrate Halloween tomorrow. Many of us will be working late into the night finishing our costumes.
The Camp Office is all excited for Halloween! As is our tradition, we want to remind our friends that many of the trick-or-treaters coming to your door will have serious food allergies. Starting a few years ago the Food Allergy & Research Education Foundation made it really easy to identify which homes were offering safe alternatives for people allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, gluten, or other ingredients. By posting a teal pumpkin on your front door you are letting every parent and child know that your home is offering something that they can safely enjoy.
