On this Valentine’s Day we wanted to take a moment to send our love to every member of our extended Camp family.
Are you going to be in Florida for February vacation?
If so, come join us for our first-ever Florida Camp reunion.
Saturday, January 28th
Chelsea Piers Stamford, Stamford, CT
5:00pm - 7:30pm
We had a blast at the Boston and Rhode Island area Camp Reunion this past Saturday, and now are looking forward to our next one in Stamford, CT on Jan. 28. We will be running Camp activities, including gymnastics, indoor soccer, touch football, and a variety of other events, as well as premiering our 2016 video year book! There will also be a room full of trampolines, a foam pit to leap in, and a climbing wall!!
It was so much fun getting the Camp community together this Saturday for our annual Boston and Rhode Island area Camp reunion. Campers and counselors came from as far as NY, NJ and NH to hang out with their camp friends and celebrate the fabulous summer of 2016!
Thanksgiving is tomorrow which means that the Boston and Rhode Island area Summer 2016 Camp Reunion is just about the corner!
As I mentioned earlier in the week, much of the Camp Office team was recently in Beijing. We went to see our returning campers and host a camp reunion, but we were also in China to take part in the 2nd China Camp Education Conference as guest speakers.
As I wrote about in Friday's blog, we have begun our fall season of amazing camp reunions. Two weeks ago more than 100 campers and counselors gathered for an evening of playing at the House of Sports in Ardsley, NY, and just last week a group of us held the third annual Camps Kenwood and Evergreen Reunion in Beijing, China.
Fall is here which means that we have started our season of Camp reunions. Two weeks ago we held our first post-summer gathering at the House of Sports in Ardsley, NY. Dozens of veteran campers from NY, NJ and CT joined us for an evening of gaga, basketball, art projects, kickball and hanging out with camp friends. Counselors from all over the Tri-State area (and a few from the UK) took time out of their busy lives to come spend time with their campers.
In just under a month our overnight camp in NH is about to begin its 86th season! And in that time we've created some pretty cool relics and regalia. One of Scott's pastimes is finding treasures from Kenwood and Evergreen's past that pop up on places like Ebay. Just last week he found this beautiful postcard that neither of us had ever seen before! All these years later our campers and counselors still enjoy this view of Mt. Kearsarge every day of the summer.
