News about so many of our student leaders and their charitable efforts

Posted by Jason Sebell on May 3, 2016 10:00:00 AM

We spend a lot of time at our brother-sister summer camp in New Hampshire talking about how to make the world a better place. We teach our campers not only how to be more empathetic, but also the art of conflict resolution and compromise. It results in charitable efforts like the bake sale that our 8 and 9 year old girls ran last summer to raise money for a local domestic abuse shelter, and our big and little sibling program during the summer.

Life skills learned at summer camp with kids from different cultures

Posted by Jason Sebell on Apr 26, 2016 10:30:00 AM

Growing up in the Kenwood and Evergreen camp community was extremely powerful for me. Over each 7 week period I learned life skills that are skill an important part of my life to this day. It’s one of the reasons that more than 30 years after starting as a camper it is still the most important institution in my life. Posted by Jason Sebell on Apr 21, 2016 10:30:00 AM

If you are a current parent at our brother-sister summer camp you received an email yesterday about a charity we are associated with called Mickey’s Kids. For almost 15 years it has been dedicated to providing camp scholarships to children from economically disadvantaged families. For those new to our community you may be unfamiliar with the great work charity does, and the lasting impact it has on the lives of the children it serves. You may also be unfamiliar with how this wonderful organization came into existence.

Good times with great friends at our overnight camp in NH

Posted by Jason Sebell on Jul 16, 2015 1:15:00 AM

Today was a lovely day at our overnight camp, from start to finish. When I woke up the camp just after 7:30am the sun was shining and everything looked beautiful. As is the case on such nice days, everyone walked up to breakfast in a really good mood. From there until the sun set everywhere I went I saw people having good times with great friends.
